1986 - Natural Energy Processing Company (NEPC) was started with Water Pumping Wind Mills and Aerogenerators.

The first commercial windfarm was established in India by installing
55kW and 110kW wind turbine generators in Gujarat.

1989 - Installed 250kW wind turbine generators in Gujarat. Also during the year completed 10 MW DANIDA Project in Tamilnadu.

1994 - Completed the single largest wind farm project in the country – 15MW project for Tamilnadu Newsprint & Paper Limited.

1995 - The first Indian company to obtain the ISO – 9002 Certification in Wind Turbine manufacturing.

1997 - The First Indian Company to achieve above 95% indigenisation.

1998 - Largest installation base in the country – NEPC accounting for about 30% of the total installation in the country.

2001 - Record achievement of commissioning 10.125 MW in one day.

2002 - 225/40 KW WTG certified by C-WET
